Sports-Trek Foundation backs Amokachi to bring positive change

Sports-Trek Foundation Africa, a non profit organization which empowers young people through sports and academics has congratulated former Super Eagles player, Daniel Amokachi, on his recent appointment as special assistant on sports to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Sports-Trek Foundation, which is preparing for the second edition of its annual sports camp in Lagos tagged “Lagos Invasion” post Covid-19 restrictions after an epoch first edition in Delta State in 2019, has discribed Amokachi’s vast experience in sports management and pragmatic human development as one that would propel the youths for greater success in sports.

Humanitarian business Man and Chairman STFA’s, Mr. Tabuko Emmanuel, in a statement in Abuja, discribes Daniel Amokachi as an ideal role model to young people given his service to Nigeria as an ex-internatiomal and former coach of the Super Eagles, coupled with the benevolent activities of the Daniel Amokachi Foundation in communities across the country over the years.

Tabuko, added that Amokachi’s appointment as SA on sports to the president, will further encourage several young people to see sports as a career part to opulence.

Amokachi’s appointment, which took effect from August 11, was announced by Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, last week.
